Launched in 2016, it only took one winter to show that the town of Salzburg has a new ski service authority: KANTE SCHARF (yes, that means "the sharp edge"). 

Created by the need of in-person consultancy and qualified staff that are experts on their tuning machines and fields, we filled a void that was left when the town's biggest sport store Eybl faltered and left consumers without an option to get their skis tuned. Lucky us, we were happy to take that chance and here we are.
We are quality-beliefers and know what difference in your skiing experience an excellent tune can make. And how many bad tunes there are out there. We normally do not talk about our competition, but in this case we understood last winter: There is so many really bad tune shops out there, that we really recommend: come see us and stay worry-free.

It all started with Otto Bachmann. Multiple European and Italian luging champion, he set in to creating his own brand of luges. Since 1983, his sport luges from Innichen, Italy are a synonym for quality, durability and detailled innovation. We felt the passion in this owner-operated business the first time we met Otto, and are the proud sales agency of Bachmann in Austria.
